The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said over the weekend that 88 ships were being expected at various terminals in Lagos Ports between Sept. 28 and Oct.27.
The NPA daily publication, of berthing meeting made available to newsmen in Lagos, said the ships were laden with cargoes, including fish, bulk wheat, rice, petroleum products, general cargo, new and used vehicles, steel products and base oil.

The document indicated that 20 fuel-laden ships are also waiting to berth at the Atlas Cove Jetty (ACJ), New Oil Jetty (NOJ), Single Buoy Mooring (SBM), and Ibafon terminal, all within the Lagos Ports.
Petroleum products on them include petrol (PMS), diesel (AGO), kerosene (DPK) and aviation fuel (JET A1).
Four ships were also waiting to berth in Greenview Development Nigeria Ltd (GDNL), ENL Consortium, as well as Ports and Terminals Multi-services Ltd (PTML).
