No fewer than 25 ships loaded with petroleum products, food and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin Can Island ports in Lagos between Tuesday (yesterday) and June 30.
According to the Nigerian Ports Authority, eight of the 25 ships would sail in with petrol, while one would bring in aviation fuel.
The remaining 16 ships are carrying items such as: buckwheat, base oil, container loaded with different goods, frozen fish, soya beans, bulk fertilizer and steel.
According to the NPA, 11 ships have already arrived at Lagos ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, bulk urea, bulk wheat, diesel and petrol.
