As at yesterday (Thursday), 10 ships carrying various products are waiting to berth at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos.
The NPA confirmed also that, five of the vessels that are awaiting berthing came in with petrol, while the remaining five would berth with bulk urea, containers, frozen fish, aviation fuel and bulk fertiliser .
Apart from those waiting to berth, 39 other ships carrying bulk wheat, frozen fish, bulk sugar, bulk fertiliser, diesel, containers, base oil, bulk salt, bulk maize, aviation fuel, general cargo, bulk gypsum and petrol are being expected at the ports between Aug. 9 (Yesterday) and Aug. 25.
