A 42year old man; Taofeek Ayoade, was last Wednesday, arraigned before an Apapa Magistrate Court for stealing a conveyor cable valued at N150, 000.
The cable belongs to Honeywell Flour Mills Plc.
Arraigning the suspect, the Police Prosecutor, Inspector Eberem Alexander, said that the suspect committed the offence on the 6th of September at Multimalt building of Honeywell Flour Mills Plc, located at Tin Can in Apapa.
Reading the charge, he said: “That you Taofeek Ayoade, on the 6th day of September 2018, at about 0500 hrs at Multimalt building og Honeywell Flour Mills Plc, Tin Can, in the Apapa magisterial district did steal conveyor cable valued One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N150, 000) property of Honeywell Flour Mills Plc and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 287 2(a) of the criminal code law of Lagos state of Nigeria 2015”
Meanwhile, the suspect pleaded guilty and admitted committing the offence.
