"The chairman took an insurance policy for the association for two years, we have now got to a stage where the people will start collecting their money.
So, we are here to drop the forms and the statement of accounts so that people can see how far the money has grown"
"As it is now, we are just trying to advise people that those who want to continue with the insurance scheme can continue, likewise people that want to stop at this junction to collect their money can also collect"
"Each person is entitled to collect N120,000, the chairman was paying N5,000 monthly for individuals, he was able to pay for 24months. The scheme was opened for twelve people"
"Some members have shown interest to continue with the scheme up to three years, the program is three years but you can collect your pay in two years" she said
Prince Oduntan however disclosed that there is an intention on his part to continue with the insurance scheme.
He assured that by 2019, a fresh opportunity will be opened up for a fresh batch of beneficiaries.
"What we did initially was a 'make believe' but now, it is a reality.
When we announced the policy, almost about fifty people collected the form but they never returned it because they didn't believe that it would work"
"The only people that returned the form are those we are giving today, we would have left the scheme to run its three years course, but this is not the strategy.
In the new year, we are going to open up for the next batch of beneficiaries".
