The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has again responded to the need of Port Workers especially freight forwarders and customs agents by adding additional routes to the five routes currently operated by the council as the lockdown in Lagos enters second week.
According to a statement signed by Rakiya Zubairu, Deputy Director Public Relations of the Council, the Council has added Sango Ota in Ogun State to the additional routes, adding that the council is mindful of the importance of social distancing and has made it mandatory on the free bus service.
She said terminals operators are also constantly reminded to put in place containment and preventive measures at their respective terminals.
You will recall that the council last week initiated return bus services to convey freight forwarders who have business at the ports to enhance port services in the country.
