Foremost enforcement and anti-smuggling officer of the Nigeria Customs Service; Comptroller David Victor Dimka, has retired from service.
Dimka, who served in many zones, commands and units of the Nigeria Customs Service disengaged from the service on Tuesday after attaining the statutory age of 60 years.
His last posting was at the Customs Headquarters in Abuja, where he was Comptroller in charge of Enforcement,
Comptroller Dimka would be remembered for his exploits while he served at different times in Ogun state command, Tin Can port command, Federal Operations Unit Zone ‘A’, in Ikeja, Lagos, Federal Operations Unit Zone ‘C’ in Owerri, among other places.
He is an alumnus of the prestigious the Nigeria Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru, Jos.
