NAGAFF Inaugurates NECOM Charges Members To Be Committed  

 The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has charged its members to be more committed and make themselves available to serve the association.The association made this call yesterday during the inauguration of the new National Executive Committee (NECOM) of the association in Lagos. Speaking during the inauguration,  national president of the association, Chief Increase Uche, said as a member of the national executive committee of the association,  there are things they will  need to sacrifice to ensure that the target of the association is achieved. "You know association is voluntary and it take opportunity to serve.  There are things that you have to forget so that this target of that association will be achieved. The availability of our national officers will go a long way to help us achieve our targets. So holding a national office like this is demanding and it needs us to be available" He also urged members to be committed to their duties, stressing that whenever someone is given a duty, it is expected that the person can handle it. Speaking further,  the NAGAFF boss pleaded for the continuous support of the newly inaugurated executives in helping him achieve the set goals of these association.  "I want to also tell you that it is a great honor for one to be elevated to such a position it is a position  that possess so much challenges and with the support of all of us the challenges Will be submerged. I also want to use this opportunity to thank all of you for them support you have given me so far" Also speaking the founder of NAGAFF, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, said that it took  so much time before  bringing together all the people  in the new national executive committee. "When NECOM was dissolved few months ago it took us time to gather the people we are inaugurating today" He also warned the members against introducing themselves as  agents instead they should be proud to introduce themselves as freight forwarders.  "We are here to to place ourselves on their track of professionalism so our member should stop introducing themselves as agents they should introduce themselves as freight forwarders." He also encouraged the newly inaugurated national executives to be read to embrace challenges in other to enable their set targets. He also preached on the need for members to be Will educated and dress properly especially When gong for official events. "Before you can achieve any position in NAGAFF, you must be educated. Our members should also ensure that they dress properly when gong for official events. I am going to exist from there effective involvement in NAGAFF affairs. I want to involve myself in politics" he concluded.
