After a long battle with cancer, the President of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF); Mr Oluwole Adeyemi is dead.
Adeyemi , who also the Chief Executive Officer of Broadline Logistics Services died in the earlier hours of yesterday at a private hospital in Maryland USA.
He was inaugurated in January 6, 2017, after about 242 days on medical treatment locally and internationally, on account of ill health.
The late Oluwole was the 4th President of NAGAFF after he was appointed by the association last year, but ill health affected his performance.
Efforts to get clarification or comments from late Adeyemi’s association; NAGAFF met brick wall yesterday as the association’s founder; Dr Boniface Aniebonam said the association has not been informed officially. According to him, NAGAFF leaders were going to meet after which a statement would be issued.
The NAGAFF was yet to issue the statement as at press time.
However, participants at the 5th Port Gist and Events anniversary which held yesterday observed one meet silence for the late NAGAFF president Mr Oluwole Adeyemi.
