After the sack of its erstwhile Apapa chairman, Alhaji Tanko Ibrahim by its National President, Mr. Lucky Eyis Amiwero, the National Council of Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents (NCMDLCA) has inaugurated a seven-man executive to manage the affairs of the chapter.
In a press release made available to Shipping Position Daily in Lagos yesterday, the new executives led by its chairman, Emeka Enwelu promised to collaborate with the Apapa Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, the Commissioner of Police, National President of NCMDLCA and other stakeholders.
He commended the Apapa customs boss, Musa Jibrin for his hard work towards sustainable trade facilitation.
Other members of the executives of the Apapa NCMDLCA are; Alhaji Kasim Isa Adua as Vice Chairman, Olagoke Aluko, Secretary, George Anya was appointed as the Financial Secretary. Others are; Abdulkadir Ibrahim, Treasurer, Anthony Okoli, Public Relations Officer and Igwe Nwajiobi as disciplinary Committee chairman. The new chairman, promised to engender good working relationship between members of the association and the customs.
He also promised to bridge the gap among members, rebrand the association and ensure peaceful coexistence. He equally commended the effort of the customs area controller, Musa Jibrin for his hard work towards sustainable trade facilitation and the Commissioner of Police for maintaining peace and order in the port"
