The maritime industry in Nigeria and its players are at a period where they need to explore the strength that comes from constant stakeholder engagement and promotion of better understanding that will lead to improvement in welfare for the workers. This harmony is necessary for the industry to fulfill its potentials and improve the sector’s contributions to the nation’s economy.
Afolabi, who also hailed the quality of the choice of Comrade Adewale Adeyanju and that of his team, challenged them to come up with various worker-oriented ideas and programmes that could further improve the fortune of the industry, This way, Afolabi said, the impact of the association would be quickly felt.
