The Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has said that 20 of its members participated? in the just-concluded Break Bulk Americas which held at the George Brown Convention Centre, Houston Texas, USA.
A reliable source within the association? told Shipping Position Daily last week that the association's members led by its national president, Prince Olayiwola Shittu participated in the event which held between 5th to 8th of September, 2015.

?Mrs Christian Blair Thompson, Breakbulk Americas’s Sales Person said on their website that the programme is ?targeted at ensuring that participants develop skills and strategy to help them do their jobs more effectively, while making industry connections that count.
Exhibitors and sponsors include specialized ocean carriers, freight forwarders, ports/ terminals, logistics providers, road, rail, barge and air transportation, export packers, equipment companies and more.
The source within ANLCA also told Shipping Position Daily that ?the programme has afforded her members to share ideas about what happens in their trade.
"For example, what happens in Korea, how do they move cargo, in Nigeria how do we move cargo and in America how do they move cargo, it is an assemblage of customs brokers and freight forwarders, where we share ideas on what is happening in developing countries"
