…As NNPC Distributes 935 Petrol Trucks of Fuel Nationwide

A fuel supply data issued by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) last week showed that a total of 935 petrol trucks were distributed across the country.
A breakdown of the supply data issued by the NNPC last week showed that a total of 55 trucks were loaded from the Enugu depot and supplied to Enugu and environ, while 39 were loaded from Makurdi depot. Suleja 167, Kadunna 46, Kano 151, Mosimi 123, Satelite 101, Aba 6, Benin 9 and Gombe 133. Others are Ibadan 11, Ore 22, Ilorin 19, Gusau 90, Minna 8, while only one truck was loaded from the Port Harcourt refinery and none from the Warri depot.
This is even as the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) also disclosed that a total of 294 petrol trucks were supplied to Abuja and its environs on Monday 16th and Tuesday, 17th November, 2015, as commuters and motorists continue to groan under the hardship occasioned by the scarcity.
According to the head public relation, DPR Abuja, Mohammed Saidu, 145 trucks were supplied to Abuja last week, while 149 were equally supplied on Tuesday, bringing the total to 294 in two days.
However, while giving the breakdown of the PMS supplied, Saidu explained that 99 trucks were supplied to inside Abuja city with Forte oil receiving four trucks, while Conoil received 10 trucks. He said Mobil had eight trucks, while MRS, Nipco and Oando were supplied with seven, six and 11 trucks respectively.
He further revealed that Total received 14 trucks, while NNPC retail was allocated 34 trucks and IPMAN had five trucks. Saidu added that 50 trucks were dispersed to immediate and extended environment of the capital city stressing that the immediate environment had 32 trucks, while extended environment received 18 trucks.
