KIA Motors Nigeria has launched the new 2015 made-in-Nigeria Kia Sorento into the country.
Speaking at the launch in Lagos, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Sandeep Maltora, said the introduction of the new automobile was sequel to the company’s promise to locally produce Kia vehicles in the country as well as give customers variety of innovative and quality product.

Speaking at the launch in Lagos, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Sandeep Maltora, said the introduction of the new automobile was sequel to the company’s promise to locally produce Kia vehicles in the country as well as give customers variety of innovative and quality product.
He said the Kia Sorento unites the classic poise of an SUV with a premium look and a feel that is particularly tangible in the cabin, adding that it offers the very highest design quality and excellent value for money.
According to him, the all new KIA Sorento is redesigned with a sleeker, more sculpted exterior; the Sorento exudes sophistication with an edge and has a wider stance and longer wheelbase for even more versatile cabin space with available seating for up to seven.
He said: “With the available Dynamax™ All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system, the Sorento delivers a smooth, refined drive even on rough roads. It presents two engine trims to fully customize your experience. Engines range from the fuel-efficient 2.4-litre 4-cylinder with its impressive performance to the 3.3-litre V6 AWD which offers 5,000-pound towing capacity.”
Also speaking, the company’s Marketing Manager, Olawale Jimoh, said 2015 Sorento guarantees comfort at its peak, adding that it’s spacious cabin with clean, modern styling and driver-focused, is also featuring a 14-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
