The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has appointed its Deputy National President, Air Logistics; as President-in the-waiting.
In a terse press statement issued yesterday, the association disclosed that, it will still retain Dr Eugene Nweke as its President, while Mr. Oluwole Adeyemi understudies him.
Yesterday’s statement puts paid to speculations about the new leadership of NAGAFF, especially after the association had stated earlier that it had dissolved the National Executive Council headed by Dr Eugene Nweke.
Announcing the development, NAGAFF’s chairman of Board of Trustees; Mr
Chidiebere Enelamah, confirmed that: The newly restructured National Executive Council of NAGAFF under the leadership of Dr. Eugene Nweke has emerged. After extensive deliberations
by the Board of Trustees (BOT) of NAGAFF, a 37-member National Executive
Council of NAGAFF that will pilot the affairs emerged.
The BOT agreed that Mr. Oluwole Adeyemi, the former Deputy National President Air Logistics should understudy the current President of NAGAFF Dr. Eugene Nweke. The Presidency of NAGAFF is by succession to ensure continuity and sustainability of objective to free and liberate the
freight forwarders of Nigeria and also ensure professional standards”.
