The Managing Director made this known when Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Dr. Samuel Ortom, paid him a courtesy call, adding that the restart of production would enable PAN benefit from the country's new automobile policy which seeks to boost domestic production of vehicles and enhance local capacity.

The Managing Director made this known when Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Dr. Samuel Ortom, paid him a courtesy call, adding that the restart of production would enable PAN benefit from the country's new automobile policy which seeks to boost domestic production of vehicles and enhance local capacity.
"We have full back up support for the vehicles, because they are going to be assembled and maintained here by Nigerians and for Nigerians," Ibrahim said.
The PAN boss said Peugeot will introduce vehicles made for the Nigerian roads that would compete favourably with leading brands in the Nigerian automobile market.
Peugeot Vice President, Yves Moulin, said his company is motivated by progress of work at the PAN plant given Nigeria's position as the fastest growing economy in Africa and arguably the largest automobile market on the continent.
