The Commissioner of Police, Western Ports; Lagos, Mr Kayode Aderanti, has cautioned truck owners to desist from parking indiscriminately to avoid the wrath of the law.
Aderanti told newsmen in Lagos that any truck caught obstructing traffic in Apapa ports would be dealt with.
“Nobody is bigger than the law. The full weight of the law will be applied on defaulters.
“If you do not have business at the port, keep your truck until your agent calls you,’’ he said.

The port police commissioner said that preventive measure was better in tackling any issue and called on port operators to collaborate with the police to provide security at the ports.
“The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) and Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANCLA) are stakeholders that should keep us informed.
“If you see anything wrong at the ports, please let me know. My line is open always. You can reach me and I will take appropriate action,’’ Aderanti said.
The commissioner said that the operators had a stake in securing the seaports because it generated income for their livelihood.
He noted that if there was any problem at the port, the operators would not be able to do business again.
Aderanti urged the operators not to hide any information that would enable security agents to properly carry out their duties.
