The command’s spokesman, Mr Ernest Olottah, told newsmen in Seme that the revenue was N10 million lower than the N722.1 million generated in March.
Olottah, however, attributed the decrease to what he called low business activities in April.

“In the month of April, the command generated lower revenue because trading activities were low in a way.
“The difference is not much from the previous month, and we are sure that as the year goes on, we will surpass our monthly target of N1.1 billion,’’ he said.
He disclosed that the command also generated N8.48 billion in 2013, adding that the figure was N4.5 billion lower than the N13 billion target for the year.
Olottah assured that the command would realise the N13 billion revenue target for the current year.
The command, he added, made 49 seizures in April with Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N16.4 million.
According to him, the items seized include rice, vehicles, narcotics, frozen poultry products and general goods.
Olottah said during the period the command also arrested three men for allegedly smuggling poultry products into the country, adding that the suspects will be prosecuted as soon as investigations were concluded.
He urged Nigerians to desist from smuggling because of its adverse effects on the nation's economy.
