The Zonal Coordinator, Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) in Bauchi State Mr Samuel Kaitanga, said the council had registered five companies in Bauchi and Adamawa States.
Kaitanga told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that four of the companies were from Bauchi State while one was based in Adamawa.
The companies are: AYM Shafa; Granite Company; Sahelian Engineering; Adama Beverages and Cinco Aluminum Products.

He said that the council had inaugurated the Bauchi Shippers’ Association with Alhaji Bello Galoji, a renowned business man, as the President and Mr Aisedion Osoba as the Secretary.
He said there were so many mineral resources in Bauchi.
Kaitanga urged the state government and businessmen to invest in those areas, adding that such investments would reduce the poverty rate and create job opportunities for the youth.
He said that for companies to enjoy the services of the council, they should be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
