The Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), has formally installed a Nigerian Shippers’ Council staff; Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo as its 12th National Chairperson during an investiture ceremony held in Lagos recently.
Delivering his goodwill message at the installation, the Executive Secretary/ Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Dr. Akutah Pius, who was represented by the Director Special Duties, Mr. Moses Abere, praised Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo’s dedication, professional experience, and leadership qualities, commending SWAN for promoting women’s interests in the accounting profession.
In her acceptance speech, Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo thanked the leadership of the Council for their support and also pledged to expand SWAN’s reach through collaborations during her two-year tenure and urged members to support her leadership.
The investiture was conducted by ICAN’s 61st President, Mallam Haruna Yahaya, who was represented by Kingsley Anyaeze.
Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo was officially sworn-in by legal luminary Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN.
