
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Bola Oyebamiji, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, describing him as a steady hand in Nigeria’s financial and political landscape.
Recall that Bola Oyebamiji a banker, administrator and politician recently resigned his appointment as the Managing Director of NIWA in pursuit of his ambition to secure the APC Governorship ticket in Osun state.
In a goodwill message, President Tinubu commended Oyebamiji’s decades of service in public administration and the financial sector, noting that his leadership, intellect, and integrity have contributed significantly to the development of Osun State and the nation.
The President also highlighted Oyebamiji’s notable achievements in banking, where he earned a reputation for professionalism and excellence before transitioning into politics. He further lauded the celebrant as “a loyal party man, a trusted associate, and a patriotic Nigerian whose exemplary work ethic reflects the ideals of responsible leadership.”
President Tinubu wished Oyebamiji continued strength and success, affirming his value to both the APC and the country at large.
