The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Women’s Volleyball Club on Tuesday continued their dominant run at the ongoing 2025 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League, securing a 3–1 victory over CNS Spikers.
In spite dropping the first set to the resilient CNS Spikers, 19-25, the defending champions rallied impressively to take control of the encounter, winning the next three sets , 25-17, 25-21, 25-19 with composed and tactical play.
The match, played at the indoor sports hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, marked Day Eight of the ongoing final phase of the tournament
Speaking after the match, team captain Kelechi Ndukauba attributed the slow start to an inadequate warm-up but praised her team’s resilience and overall performance throughout the league.
“The matches have been good, and thank God for everything. My team has been performing up to expectations and at our best in this tournament.
“ We are the defending champions, and have won all our matches so far. Our hope is to finish this tournament unbeaten.
“In today’s match, the CNS Spikers gave a good fight. They took the first set because we didn’t warm up very well, but we picked up momentum, regained our points, and eventually won the match.
“ Our team wants to remain on track to retain the title and hope to maintain an unbroken winning streak in the final phase of the league,” she said.
NAN reports that CNS will face Kada Emeralds, while Nigeria Customs Service will face Benue Queens on Wednesday.
In other matches, COAS Spikers crushed Kada Emeralds 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-10), and Life Camp dominated Olalomi Royal Queens 3-0 (25-9, 25-16, 25-20).

The 2025 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League final phase commenced on Dec.1 and will run till Dec. 13 at Package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
