
The Commissioner of Police, Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, CP Oluwatoyin Agbaminoja, has congratulated CP Ali Umar Fage on his promotion to the rank of Commissioner of Police, describing the elevation as well-deserved and timely.
In a congratulatory message, CP Agbaminoja said the promotion reflects CP Ali Umar Fage’s professionalism, dedication to duty and outstanding contributions to policing and national security over the years. She noted that the elevation underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to rewarding excellence, integrity and exemplary leadership.
She recalled that the newly promoted Commissioner of Police served in various capacities within the Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, where he distinguished himself through disciplined service and operational competence. Until his recent promotion, CP Ali Umar Fage was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, a role in which he played a key part in strengthening internal coordination, manpower management and overall operational efficiency within the Command.
According to CP Agbaminoja, CP Ali Umar Fage’s leadership qualities, people-centred approach to policing and consistent track record of service earned him the respect of his colleagues and members of the public alike.
She expressed confidence that he would bring his wealth of experience, strategic insight and unwavering commitment to duty to bear in his new rank, in furtherance of the goals and vision of the Nigeria Police Force.
