22 Ships Arrive In Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) yesterday said that 22 ships arrived at Lagos ports between Aug. 28 and Sept. 10.
An NPA document, made available to newsmen in Lagos recorded that all the 22 ships were still discharging cargoes.
The cargoes are bulk wheat, rice, general cargo, bulk fertiliser, containers, fish, soda ash, petrol and diesel.
The document also reported that six other ships, laden with rice, palm oil and general cargoes, were waiting to berth at the Lagos ports.

The document also reported that six other ships, laden with rice, palm oil and general cargoes, were waiting to berth at the Lagos ports.
It indicated that 19 fuel-laden ships were also waiting to berth at the various oil terminals within the ports.
According to the document, 94 other ships will be sailing into the ports from Sept. 12 to Oct. 21 with fresh fish, wheat, containers, new and used vehicles, rice, gypsum and fuel.
The terminals where these ships will berth are ENL Consortium, Ports and Cargo, APMT , Ports and Multi-Services Ltd. and Tin-Can Island Container Terminal.
