Prominent maritime industry stakeholders; including the chairman, Senate committee on marine, Senator Zynab Kure and the Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) , Mr Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi are set to converged on Lagos next week for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Nigeria’s oldest private maritime manpower training institution; the Nigerian Institute of Shipping (NIS).
Prominent maritime industry stakeholders; including the chairman, Senate committee on marine, Senator Zynab Kure and the Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) , Mr Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi are set to converged on Lagos next week for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Nigeria’s oldest private maritime manpower training institution; the Nigerian Institute of Shipping (NIS).
The duo are among other prominent stakeholders who will be honoured as part of the programme which will culminate in an awards ceremony. The event hold in Lagos on October 31, 2012.
Also expected to grace the occasion are: [PDP National Chairman],Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, former Military Governor of Imo State; Navy Commodore Anthony Oguguo [Rtrd], Senate President, Senator David Mark, Deputy Speaker, House of Representative; Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Chairman House Committee on Marine Transport; Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
