A vessel called Ruby Ace has been in the Tin can Island Port complex for six days without offloading its commodity due to congestion in the port complex. The vessel which is known for vehicles importation is stranded with a total number of 1,380 vehicles on board.

The source said with the influx of vehicles in the port complex and consequent congestion of the premises, Ruby Ace could not discharge its cargoes as the terminal is flooded with all kinds of imported items.
According to an agent, Mr. Tobichukwu Francis the vessel had been stock with more than 1000 units of vehicles for clearance but there is no space to offload. Another source who pleaded anonymity said the with the delay, clearing agents may find it difficult to locate their vehicles b y the time they will eventually be offloaded .
