At least 11 ships carrying various products are waiting to berth at the Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports in Lagos State.
According to the Nigerian Ports Authority, one of the vessels is laden with petrol.
The remaining 10 ships would berth with containers, general cargo and aviation fuel.
Also, 22 ships carrying bulk wheat, frozen fish, bulk sugar, bulk salt, containers and general cargo are being expected to berth from March 5 to March 21.
The 22 ships were also carrying bulk gypsum, base oil and petrol.
