The Ports and Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) command of the Nigeria Customs Service has gotten a new Area Controller. His name is Compt Adegboyega Jelili Sanni.
He replaced Mrs Ronke Olubiyi who has been elevated as Acting Assistant Comptroller General of Customs and moved to the headquarters in Abuja.
Controller Sanni prior to his transfer to PTML was the Comptroller in charge of Customs Headquarters, Abuja.
At a brief handing over ceremony that took place at the command yesterday, Compt Olubiyi solicited support of officers for the incoming customs boss. Addressing the senior officers of the command, Olubiyi expressed appreciation to officers for helping her achieve success during her stay at the command.
Responding, Compt Sanni promised to bring in new innovation to the command and to operate an open door policy with all stakeholders at PTML.
Earlier, the PTML Command of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) had conferred Compt Olubiyi with a Merit Award for fostering peace and harmonious working relationship at the command.
Chairman of ANLCA at PTML, Elder Oluwole Obey who presented the award in the Controller's office alongside his executives lauded Olufowobi for operating an open door policy with agents.
"She has assured us that the new man will equally extend his hand of friendship to us and we are waiting to work with him"
