Kano chapter of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has revealed that the association is in full support of the present positive development so far recorded in the oil sector, and that it is optimistic that Nigeria will soon resume exportation of refined oil to other countries.
This was disclosed by the state chapter chairman Alhaji Bashir Danmalam during a press briefing on the current state of the oil sector in the nation.
According to him, the present administration has recorded positive development tremendously in ensuring that all the refineries resumes operation actively and the level attained in oil exploration currently taking place in various locations across the federation.
"We have witness several administrations with various policies on the oil sector. However, it is very important to let the public know that IPMAN is satisfied with the level of development so far reached by the Buhari led administration and the leadership of the Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru and his team. Similarly, we are aware that oil exploration is presently taking place in about five states in Nigeria and it is vividly clear that Nigeria will soon resume exportation of refined oil," said Danmalam.
He added that, this development has vindicated IPMAN from all the allegations levelled against it during the fuel difficulty period adding that, the public is now enlightened that the problem wasn't from the association but with leadership of the oil sector.
