Eighty four ships carrying various cargoes are expected to sail into the Lagos Ports between August 13 and 28, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said.
The result of berthing meeting which held on Monday and which was made available to our correspondent in Lagos by the NPA showed that the expected cargoes are soya beans, rice, bulk salt, bulk sulphur, sugar, bulk wheat, old and new vehicles, petroleum products and fish.
NAN reports that 47 of the expected ships are expected at the ports this week.

Four of the expected ships are carrying 1,158 units of used vehicles while 14 ships are carrying 5,735 new vehicles.
The document showed that 28 ships are laden with containers while one of the ships is to sail in with 3,708 tons of steel products.
The shipping position also showed that nine ships contained diesel; two ships have petrol on board; while four ships are laden with kerosene.
According to the document, 18 ships are waiting to berth at the ports.
The contents of the ships are rice, bulk salt, bulk wheat, fertilizer, containers, general cargo, bulk sugar, fish and corn.
