88 ships expected at Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said that at least 88 ships are expected at the Lagos ports between Oct. 2 and Oct. 29.
The NPA said that the ships were laden with fish, rice, general cargoes, new and used vehicles, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, base oil, containers, steel products and petroleum products.
The publication said that the cargoes were expected at terminals such as Josepdam, ENL Consortium, APM Terminals, Apapa Bulk Terminals Ltd, Greenview Development Nigeria Ltd and Five Star Logistics Terminals.

It said that 16 fuel-laden ships were also waiting to berth and discharge their contents at Ibafon, Atlas Cove Jetty, Single Buoy Mooring, Apapa Bulk Terminal Ltd and New Oil Jetty.
According to the document, the ships contain petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, kerosene and base oil.
It also said that six ships laden with rice, fresh fish, bulk wheat and containers were also awaiting to berth at the ports.
