The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) on Tuesday urged the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) to pump kerosene and diesel to Aba depot.
Mr Simple Nwamkpa, Chairman, IPMAN Reactivation Committee of Aba Depot, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that PPMC was only pumping petrol to the depot.
NAN recalls that PPMC, had last week, commenced pumping of petroleum products from Port Harcourt refinery to Aba depot which had not received supplies in the last six years.

NAN recalls that PPMC, had last week, commenced pumping of petroleum products from Port Harcourt refinery to Aba depot which had not received supplies in the last six years.
He said that Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and PPMC should supply kerosene and diesel to the depot to alleviate the suffering of the people in the areas.
Nwampa said that pumping of petrol from the Port Harcourt refinery to Aba had been on since last week, adding that the marketers were only waiting to load.
“We hope that pumping will end soon to enable the marketers to commence loading of the product to their respective locations,’’ he said.
“Expectations are very high from people of the communities to get kerosene and diesel from the depot,'' he said.
Mr Haruna Momoh, the Managing Director of PPMC, told NAN in a text message that loading of petroleum products would commence soon at Aba depot.
