MARAN Holds 2012 Maritime Excellence Awards In December

The award, Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) is holding its 2012 Maritime Excellence Award; it comes up on December 11, 2012, at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos
Expected to grace the occasion are: the Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar who will deliver a keynote address, while the minister of information, Mr. Labaran Maku will be the chairman of the occasion

The award, Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) is holding its 2012 Maritime Excellence Award; it comes up on December 11, 2012, at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos

Top dignitaries from the various agencies under the Federal Ministry of Transport, will also grace the occasion. The list also include the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom state; Chief Godswill Akpabio, the  PDP National Chairman; Dr Bamanga Tukar, The Chairman, House of Reps Committee on marine tarnsport, Honorable Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi
Other are; the Managing Director of the Nigerian Port Authority,(NPA), Mallam Habib Abdulahi  and his Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA counterpart , Mr Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi.
Chairman of some corporate organisation and banks will also be part of the ceremony.
