The President of the Maritime Security Providers Association of Nigeria (MASPAN), Mr. Emmanuel Maiguwa, has commended Comptroller Dera Nnadi on his recent promotion to the rank of Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
During a visit to the newly-promoted ACG, Mr. Maiguwa lauded Nnadi’s exemplary service and unwavering commitment to advancing maritime trade and operations in Nigeria. He described Nnadi as an outstanding officer whose leadership as the Customs Area Controller (CAC) of the Tin-Can Island Command brought significant benefits to the maritime sector.
“Comptroller Nnadi has been an exceptional officer with a particular passion for developing maritime trade and operations. The industry has greatly benefited from his time at Tin-Can Command, where his dedication and innovative approaches left a lasting impact,” Maiguwa stated.
As Nnadi takes on his new role as an Assistant Comptroller-General, Maiguwa extended his best wishes for continued success and pledged MASPAN’s full support to him in his higher responsibilities.
“We are confident that his experience and drive will bring even greater contributions to the Nigeria Customs Service and the nation at large. As he ascends higher, we assure him of our unwavering support,” Maiguwa added.
He added that Nnadi’s promotion is a recognition of his years of service and achievements in strengthening maritime security, trade facilitation, and revenue generation.
