Tantita Donates Command Centre, Vehicles to NSCDC to Boost National Security

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has donated a modern command and control centre alongside operational Hilux vehicles to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to enhance security coordination and operational efficiency nationwide.

The facility, unveiled on Thursday in Abuja, is designed to strengthen intelligence gathering, surveillance, and inter-agency collaboration across the country. Speaking at the ceremony, Tantita’s Managing Director, Kestin Ebimorbowei, said the gesture aligns with the Federal Government’s reform agenda aimed at strengthening economic performance and national stability.

Ebimorbowei, who was represented by the company’s Executive Director, Operations and Technical, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, noted that although the centre is located in Abuja, its operational coverage spans the entire country. He explained that the 24-hour facility is equipped with advanced monitoring systems capable of enhancing air, land, and real-time incident surveillance.

According to him, the centre marks a significant step toward deeper technological integration within the NSCDC and will support the corps and other security agencies in fulfilling their constitutional mandates.

Capt. Enisuoh commended NSCDC personnel for protecting Tantita operatives, noting that private security guards are not legally permitted to bear arms. He disclosed that 15 officers lost their lives while working with the company and pledged continued support for the families of the fallen personnel.

“We rate this partnership ten over ten,” he said, citing the sacrifices of uniformed officers in safeguarding national assets.

In his remarks, the NSCDC Commandant General, Professor Ahmed Audi, expressed appreciation for the fully furnished facility and the two Hilux operational vehicles donated by Tantita. He announced that the structure has been named the “Nuhu Ribadu Hydrocarbon and Maritime Security Command and Control Centre.”

Audi revealed that the centre would be integrated with the Office of the National Security Adviser to enhance coordination among security agencies. He said the facility would strengthen intelligence gathering, information sharing, and inter-agency collaboration, particularly in hydrocarbon and maritime security operations.

He stressed that structured data management and credible intelligence dissemination are critical to national development and expressed confidence that the new centre would significantly boost the corps’ operational capacity.

Also speaking, the Executive Chairman of Zuma Energy Power Ltd, Dr. Innocent Ezuma, announced the donation of an additional building dedicated to VIP protection services. Represented by Nwoko Alex, he stated that the facility would improve standards in safeguarding high-profile individuals while contributing to national security.

He described the initiative as a global-standard addition to Nigeria’s security architecture and expressed optimism that it would further strengthen investor confidence and economic growth.
