Again, Sea Robbers Attack Boat In Bayelsa

Daredevil sea robbers have attacked passengers and robbed them of their valuables on a water craft in the Southern Ijaw region of Bayelsa state.
Security sources informed our correspondent that, the incident took place on March 22nd at approximately 0700 LT, in position 04:46.2N-006:01E, when armed men in a speedboat attacked the passenger craft near Okpotuwari in Bayelsa State.

The sources confirmed that the gunmen stole cash and personal belongings from the victims and although the report is confused, the robbers either took or disabled the passenger vessel, leaving its occupants stranded.
The passengers then swam to a nearby jetty and the authorities were contacted.
