One of the nation’s leading tank farms; Capital Oil and Gas Company last week assured that it was aiming at loading record of one billion litres by February ending, building on its promise in January that it would complete its N100 billion Apapa jetty expansion very soon.
Capital Oil Group Executive Director, Mr. MCK Ubah, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the recent acquisition of six additional pumps in the company’s gantry would make this possible.
According to him, the pumps have make it easier to load 12 trucks of 33,000 litres within 12 minutes, which supply at least 10 million litres of petroleum products to various filling stations in the country.
“Available records as at November last year indicate that we would surpass our last year’s loading record of 950 million litres,” he said. He said the development was another milestone in the history of the organisation, which is one of the leading downstream operators in the oil and gas industry.
