The management of Lekki Deep seaport, Nigeria’s pioneering deep-sea port, has extended its congratulations to Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho and Senator Adedayo Adeyeye on their recent appointments as Managing Director and Board Chairman respectively of the Nigerian Ports Authority.
In a statement from the Managing Director, Du Ruogang, the company expressed confidence in Dantsoho’s extensive public service experience, believing that his leadership will significantly enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of Nigeria’s ports across Africa.
Ruogang also praised Senator Adeyeye’s appointment, highlighting the vital support Lekki Deep Sea Port has received from the Nigerian Ports Authority during its development and commercial operations since April 2023.
He reaffirmed that Lekki Deep Sea Port will continue to benefit from NPA’s support, aligning with the Federal Ministry of Marine & Blue Economy’s goal to boost maritime trade and accelerate Nigeria’s economic recovery.
