The National President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Mr Tochukwu Ezisi has stopped all national officers and chapter executives of the association from issuing press releases without prior consultation with the National President.
Ezisi made this known in a statement made available to our correspondent on Thursday, in which he directed that henceforth, letters and petitions to heads of government agencies at the ports by the association’s committees and functionaries should be routed through the office of the National President for vetting before they are dispatched to the concern agencies, association or organisation.
The NAGAFF President warned that, “any national officer involved in unethical, gross miss conduct, anti-association activities, and insubordination to constituted authority would be severely sanctioned”.
Ezisi however appealed to all members of the association to work together in harmony as a big family and comply with all government regulations at the port.
