The Director-General of the Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, (NIMASA); Dr. Bashir Jamoh will be the Guest Lecturer at the maiden annual lecture of the Institute of Maritime Studies, University of Lagos.
The theme of the lecture which is expected to bring together key maritime industry players and the academia is: “From Crude to Blue – Nigeria’s Blue Economy: The Imperative of Maritime Domain Awareness and Good Governance”.
According to a statement issued by the University, the event will hold at 11:00 am on March 1, 2022, at the J. F. Ade Ajayi Main Auditorium, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
The chairman of the occasion is Chairman, Access Bank; Dr. Dere Awosika. Similarly, Prof. Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS (Vice-Chancellor, UNILAG) and Prof. M. O. Ilori (Director, Institute of Maritime Studies, UNILAG will serve as Chief host and host respectively.
