The Director General of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Dr. Bashir Jamoh has described the Managing Director of the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) Hadiza Bala Usman, as a model that inspire younger women to strive towards excellence in the corporate world.
Jamoh who paid a surprised courtesy visit to the NPA MD on Monday January 4th 2021, in her office to felicitate with her on her birthday described the Maritime Amazon as a model that inspire other women to achieve excellence.
According to his statement on his official Twitter handle he said “#BirthdayGirl. Had the privilege of paying a surprise courtesy visit to my sister and friend @hadizabalausman on the first working day of 2021. She is a model to inspire younger women to strive for excellence in the corporate world. Many happy returns an even greater 2021 ahead" he said.
A twitter user Jones Abiri described both the NPA MD and NIMASA DG as good brains in repositioning the maritime sector
"@JamohBashir with better vision in repositioning the maritime sector. Good brains are better of in term of achievements and humbleness towards the job".
Other twitters who commented also wished the NPA MD more prosperous years ahead while others twitter users use the opportunity to urged the NPA MD to intervene as regards the roads that leads to the port.
A twitter user with the name Prolific Clearing Agent said "The roads that lead to major ports are paramount network to economy of the country, pls talk to appropriate authority to speed up the road" he said
