The heads of critical agencies within the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy have solidified their commitment to transforming the sector’s socioeconomic landscape by signing a Performance Bond with Minister Adegboyega Oyetola CON.
This significant move, disclosed by the minister’s spokesperson, Ismail Omipidan, through his official communication channel, is geared towards fortifying efficiency, proficiency, and effectiveness within the marine and Blue Economy domain.
The performance bond signing according to Omipidan occurred after an enlightening two-day retreat organized by the Ministry in Lagos.
He said the retreat, marked by fruitful discussions and strategic planning sessions, aimed to chart a new course for the realization of the Ministry’s ambitious objectives.
“What sets this event apart is the Ministry’s groundbreaking initiative in cascading the Performance Bond beyond its top leadership.
“By extending the commitment to Directors and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) within the Ministry, it becomes the first to operationalize and disseminate the Performance Bond initially endorsed with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu” he said
He further stated that the move underscores the Ministry’s dedication to inclusive governance and collaborative efforts for sectoral growth adding that It also aligns with the recent Stakeholders’ Roundtable Engagement held earlier in the week, where the Ministry engaged key players in the maritime sector.
Omipidan also emphasized the Ministry’s readiness to actualize its deliverables and contribute significantly to the realization of Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
