Vice President, Goodluck Jonathan has solicited the cooperation of the executive council of the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) with the Federal Government by offering professional advice on the ongoing oil and gas reform in the country.
The vice president stated this when the association paid him a courtesy visit at the State House in Abuja last week. Reiterating the need for assistance form the association, the Vice president stated that this will help make the ongoing reforms measures to achieve the expected results. Affirming that the NGA has experts that can help, Dr Jonathan said that”it is very gratifying to see that Nigeria possesses the experienced people, with the necessary expertise to advice on various aspects of the oil and gas reforms being undertaken by the Federal Government”.
“The Nigerian Gas Association, with such experts within its membership, can play a key role in advising and guiding the government in a manner that will ensure that Nigeria obtains the best and highest value from these reforms. I therefore personally request your quality feedback and input into the process”, he added.
