With my main work being monitoring and analyzing maritime accidents, I noticed a new trend in accidents, starting January, after the shipping and the world were hit by two disasters – IMO’s Sulphur Cap, and so-called “fighting pandemic” insanity. At least four similar major accidents struck four big ships, including bulk carrier, tanker and container ship. In all cases, there were blasts in engine rooms, followed by fires. Blast in engine room of VLCC NEW DIAMOND was also mentioned, recently.
I know, that Sulphur Cap and low-sulphur fuels became a real problem both for engines and for crews, not to mention other problems, generated by “green clean zero-emission” agenda. Crews all around the globe, 24/7, execrate all those involved in “green shipping” agenda, from IMO down to NGOs, Associations, Alliances, “Poseidon Principles” imbeciles, and so on, legion is their name.
I know, that for decades already, the plague of safety rules, regulations and restrictions, became a thing in itself, a cancer in shipping organism. Crews and managers don’t try to comply with this prohibitive and punitive, criminal and corrupt in its’ character, legislation, because it is simply impossible, it can’t be done. So crews and managers are, most of the time, busy with evading that tremendous bulk of regulations (in order not to be caught and punished), on account of real safety measure and practices. It’s a well-known story if we look at Soviet merchant marine, where seamen were more afraid of punishments, than of accidents and all ensuing perils. One can’t push too far with restrictions, regulations and control over those who do real job, it will become (and became, long ago), counter-productive, it will become an antithesis of safety.
As if Sulphur Cap wasn’t enough, here comes “pandemic” hoax insanity. “Fighting pandemic” pandemic turned the world upside down, and incarcerated crews on board of their ships. Seamen working on ships contact me after this or that accident, related to human factor, and say they aren’t surprised. People are tired to a limit of their endurance, many simply don’t care anymore about practices of safe work and ship’s maintenance. As one seaman told me – “All I think of is the time when watch ends, then I eat, then watch movie, and then blissfully, fall asleep”.
So I believe, that recent major accidents are related to the above listed factors, this new trend in accidents just can’t be explained by mere coincidence.
A most ferocious campaign I ever witness, meanwhile, is gathering momentum, it is aimed at Flags of Convenience. It started with Beirut explosion, and now it’s in full blast. The aim is obvious – FOCs must be banned. One more major step on the way of bringing shipping under total control of globalists. I got an impression, that all idiots and imbeciles of the world, those most stupid, incompetent and ignorant, were hired by mainstream media to write on recent accidents with the ships, bearing FOC flags.
Owners and some CEOs meanwhile, whine and complain, albeit very shyly, on the lack of public support, on weak lobbying of their interests… Good morning, folks. Welcome to a new bright green sustainable future. What is it you’re complaining about? Why don’t you look at yourselves? Who’s to provide you with public support and strong lobby? Knight in shining armor? God? You did nothing to protect yourselves, to stand up and defend yourselves, you didn’t even do most obvious thing, you didn’t establish a true industry media outlet, to speak on your behalf, to make your voice heard. You’re like a school sissy waiting for a teacher to protect him from bullying. There’s a term “manning” – manning ships, companies, etc. I think with regards to shipping, this word isn’t correct anymore. Because there are no men around.
What about FOCs replacement? We all know, that UN/EU and all the globalist cabal, are strongly against anything national, including flags (with the exception of China, of course). What flags are to become future flags of world shipping? EU and UN? UN only (plus China)? China only plus UN? A lot of options.
