The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 13 vessels laden with petrol, diesel, frozen fish and other items are being expected at the Delta ports.
The ports authority listed some of the vessels to include: MV Frio Nereus, MT Tornado, Matrix Asa, MT Ilhaam, Orchard and Ihem, among others.
“Thirteen ships conveying petrol, diesel, general cargo and others are being expected at the Delta ports.
The NPA also declared that MT Ozichukwu vessel is laden with crude oil.
It also said that MT San Biagio conveying 3,700 metric tonnes of bitumen was waiting at Fairway Bouy to discharge the product.
The agency stated further that three vessels: MV Kapetan Sideris, RS Pioneer and MT Igbinosa were awaiting anchorage.
“While RS Pioneer is waiting at the Koko/Midstream to load Containers, MT Igbinosa is waiting at the Escravos to load 12,000 metric tonnes of crude oil.
“Also, MV Kapetan Sideris is waiting at Bennett to discharge 13,400 metric tonnes of wheat,” it stated
