Shippers’ Council organises managerial training

As part of its commitment towards improving the quality of its service delivery, the Nigerian Shippers’ Council recently organised a four- day managerial training for the organisation’s zonal coordinators and officers on GL  Level 14- 15.
According to a statement issued in Lagos by the organisation’s head of corporate affairs, Mr Ignatius Nweke, the training which was held in Lagos was aimed at enhancing the capacity of the relevant officers in line with the Council’s focus in 2009.
 Speaking on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Council, Capt. Adamu Biu at the occasion, the Council’s Director, Inland Transport Services, Chief Chris. Orode stated that it is the determination of the management to reposition the Council by availing the field officers of the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and skills.
