Late Onumajuru was born on October 2nd 1962 in Mgbala village in Agwa Community in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State. He had BA Honours in Igbo Linguistics and an MSC in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos.
He had also a while ago enrolled into a Bible College to know more about God and therefore, strengthen his relationship with his creator.
The late Onumajuru worked in reputable media organizations at various times both in prints and electronic media, some of which were the defunct Daily Times of Nigeria, the defunct Post Express Newspapers, the Daily Champion Newspapers, Total Transport (prints and electronics) and lately, the Nigerian Pilot newspaper.
Onumajuru had a strong flair for politics, an enduring instinct that he demonstrated in 2007 when he contested for the Imo State Legislative seat under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Blessing was happily married and blessed with four lovely children.
Burial arrangements will be communicated to all relevant bodies later.
