He said that another major challenge was the presence of hoodlums at the port, who disguise as freight forwarders.
Chukwu said that the problem of hoodlums would have been solved if the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) functioned properly.
He commended the Port Police for continuously arresting the hoodlums at the port.
Chukwu said that there had been series of meetings between the CRFFN and other freight forwarding associations to enable the council performed its statutory roles in the maritime industry.
He urged registered freight forwarders to always come into the ports with their identity cards. (NAN)
