Mr Babatunde Mukaila, a former National Secretary of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), has formally launched his campaign team ahead of the forthcoming ANLCA Board of Trustees (BoT) elections.

The campaign team, named “One with God,” is tasked with developing and implementing legitimate strategies to secure Mukaila’s election into the ANLCA BoT. The team will also operate a situation monitoring room, designed to track and collate real-time feedback from various geopolitical zones during the elections.

Mukaila in a press statement sent to our correspondent emphasized that if elected, he will promote professionalism, introduce innovations, and provide transparent leadership, all while adhering strictly to the association’s constitution.

He stated that His vision is to strengthen the association through integrity and strategic development.

Mukaila is widely recognized for several key achievements during his tenure in ANLCA. In 2010, he spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive membership database and launched the association’s first functional website, www.anlca.com.ng, which remains operational to this day. Additionally, he left behind a fully equipped National Secretariat, complete with physical structures and facilities, enhancing the association’s administrative capacity.

A licensed agent since 2000 and Chief Executive Officer of Mickey Excellency Nigeria Ltd, Mukaila holds the record as the longest-serving Chairman of the ANLCA Electoral Commission (ASECO). His extensive experience in the field and dedication to the association’s growth have earned him significant respect among his peers.

Mukaila is also a member of the Nigeria Institute of Shipping (NIS), the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), and the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). He holds a master’s degree in Transport Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).
