After initial suspense, the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) has commenced a search for a substantive Registrar/ Chief Executive Officer of the council.
This follows the expiration of tenure of the former registrar of the council, Barr. Sam Nwakohu in January.
The Council in a newspaper advertisement titled: “Vacancy For Position Of Registrar/CEO” listed the qualifications expected of those willing to take up the position to include that the applicants must hold a minimum of Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 10 years cognate experience in Freight forwarding business in Nigeria. He must also possess membership of ra elevant professional body and must be computer literate with knowledge of ICT application
The Council also stated that the applicant must not be less than 50 years and not more than 60 years ago with no record of criminal offence.
Other skills expected of the applicant include: “Must have management and administrative experience, must be a team leader driven by results, excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, charismatic and accommodative with good written and spoken communication skills.
The Council stated in the advertisement that the deadline for the submission of all applications is Tuesday, 7th April, 2023.
